BEFORE
STEP 1
The seat of the dining chair is removed to be upholstered.
STEP 2
The staples are to be removed from the bottom of the seat.
STEP 3
The seat is then stripped of its fabric.
STEP 4
The center of the seat is marked on the top and bottom.
STEP 5
The fabric the seat will be upholstered with is also marked on the top and bottom at the center.
STEP 6
Cotton is added to the top of the seat.
STEP 7
The cotton is removed from the bottom along the edges.
STEP 8
The new fabric is placed and centered.
STEP 9
A temporary tack is set on the fabric to hold it in place.
STEP 10
The fabric is then aligned and stapled in place along the edges.
STEP 11
The corners are tacked in place.
STEP 12
The fabric is aligned once again with a finishing set of staples.
STEP 13
The corners begin being stapled precisely in place.
STEP 14
The corners are finished being made.
STEP 15
Tacking staples are removed for final presentation.
STEP 16
Edges are trimmed along the staple line.
STEP 17
Black accord is cut and placed on the bottom of the seat.
STEP 18
The black accord is then stapled in place.
STEP 19
The finished seat is re-attatched to the chair.
